The International Forum of Designers of Kazakhstan “High design level is the basis for successful reforms” was held in Almaty.
The forum was attended by Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Kuandyk Kazhkenov, Deputy of the Mazhilis Bakytzhan Bazarbek, General Director of KazNIISA Begman Kulbayev, representatives of the Republican Union of Designers of Kazakhstan Self-regulatory Organization, professional associations of the country’s construction industry, as well as international experts.
The forum addressed the most important issues of the development of design activities, including the introduction of self-regulation of design organizations, improvement of state regulation of the construction industry, certification of specialists, development of engineering services in Kazakhstan, as well as the application of successful international experience in the field of design.
The main purpose of the forum is to develop the position of the expert community of the construction industry on topical issues of the draft Building Code in order to submit it to the working group under the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
